7/2 Homework

In the memoirs article, the writer say "when writing your memoirs, reach down deep and pull out everything in your life, both the good and bad."  This is a very good thing to keep in mind when people are writing their memoirs.  Some things people can write about is marriage or divorce, births or deaths like big events in the persons life.  One very important thing the writer say is "there will never be an agreement between art and craft." What he is saying here is, people will always run into problems with coming up with good ideas and then putting those ideas onto paper in a good/ proper way. One good point the writer says is, don't be afraid to involve your self a lot in your memoirs.
For the FSU readings we were suppose to read i was unable to open the webpage.

1. How can people really express themselves in memoirs?
2. People writing memoirs, do they do it for themselves or for the readers?
3.

I think you did a good job on your reading even though you couldn't get to all of the stories. You have very solid about points about what the author was trying to get across in his memoir. Espicially when you touch on the points about the promblems people come across about blending good ideas with translating it on to paper.I think people can really express themselves by really digging down deep in pulling out there essence to show to the world. When a person write it's about getting there ideas out also to show there point of view to the reader. So it's for both the reader and themselves.
